1. Saginaw

Key players: Draymond Green  6’7”  Senior  F [Michigan State], Mike Green  6’1”  Junior  G, Courtney Washington  6’2”  Senior  G, Daniel West  6’2”  Senior  G

Key losses: Bobby Lewis – Jackson State, Josh Southern – Boston College

Enough has been written about this team, but they are the overall best in mid-Michigan. Draymond Green and Daniel West are the most talented duo in the state and the guys surrounding them are solid. Plus having a coach like Lou Dawkins in their corner doesn’t exactly hurt.

2. Flint Carman Ainsworth

Key players: Kieon Arkwright  5’11”  Senior  G, Demondre Chapman  6’6”  Sophomore  F, Jon Lee  6’1”  Senior G, Reggie Stallings  6’3”  Senior  G, Terrance Keaton  6’6”  Junior  F

An experienced perimeter and a talented post merge under new coach Bob Root. The margin for error is small.

3. Saginaw Arthur Hill

Key players: Omari Humes  6’5”  Junior  F, Maurice Jones-Cooper  5’5”  Sophomore  G, Latreze Mushatt  6’5”  Senior  F, Tyrie Wooten  5’10”  Senior  G

Key losses: Antoine Lundy, Tommie Prater, Dar Tucker – DePaul

Strong at every position, yet again. Arthur Hill can never be counted out.

4. Holt

Key players: Tom Brandenburg  6’3”  Senior  F, Cole Darling  6’6”  Sophomore  F, Donlunto Jackson  5’8”  Sophomore  G (right), Rashawn Molden  6’3”  Senior  F, Joe Powers  6’2”  Senior  G

5. Flint Powers Catholic

Key losses: Andrew Charlesworth – Mott CC, Laval Lucas-Perry – Arizona

The Morelands are two of the trickiest guards in the state and they’re surrounded by some pretty good talent.

6. Jackson

Key losses: Tercel Taylor – Keystone College

An experienced post allows a young, but talented, perimeter to grow.

7. Mount Pleasant

Key losses: Andrew Rhode, Andrew Thomas

Tough from positions one through five. William Arnold and Trey Zeigler are a dynamic duo.

8. Lansing Waverly

Key losses: Tyler Bennett, Bryan Horn, Courtney Stephens

Losing Bryan Horn hurts, but there’s plenty left to steady the ship. They looked good in East Lansing this past summer.

9. Flint Southwestern
