Dominique Allen  6’4”  Senior

New school: Beecher

Old school: Alternative

Allen is one of the most gifted athletes in the state. He’s a high-wire act that will give Buc-town a weapon inside.

Colin Angle  6’1”  Senior

New school: Goodrich

Old school: Davison

Didn’t play his junior year as a Cardinal, but he’s a kid with a lot of talent. Good shooter and adequate ball-handler. Should fill out the Martians rotation.

Joseph Bond  6’0”  Senior

New school: Saginaw Buena Vista

Old school: Carrollton

Quality guard that will add balance to the Knights.

Tyler Dwyer  6’1”  Sophomore

New school: Saginaw Heritage

Old school: Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central

Talented and hard-nosed kid that should bolster this young Heritage squad.

Jordan Howenstine  6’1”  Senior

New school: Lansing Sexton

Old school: Home-schooled

Talented ball-handler that looked like a future star at East Lansing, until his decision to home-school and enroll at Sexton. Will be one of many talented guards in coach Valentine’s backcourt.

Chaz Johnson  6’4”  Junior

New school: Flint Central

Old school: Flint Southwestern

Will add size to a young, but an extremely talented Flint Central squad. More of a mobile big man than a banger, which should fit this guard-oriented team.

Lau’ren Jones [right] 6’0”  Senior

New school: Burton Bentley

Old school: Flint Carman Ainsworth

Will be a great addition in light of the departure of Aaron Mangham. Jones is a solid perimeter player with explosive potential offensively. Has a knack for getting off shots in the lane and can hit from deep. A fantastic on-the-ball defender in true CA-fashion. Good character kid that will do very well in the GAC.

Aaron Mangham  6’0”  Senior

New school: Flint Southwestern

Old school: Burton Bentley

Exceptional talent. Mangham has always been the best athlete in the GAC, but that may be brought back down to earth in the talent-rich SVL. He’s a slick ball-handler and can pull off some gaudy acrobatic moves going to the hoop. He and Derrick Smith should help ease the loss of Anthony Crater.

Demarkus McKormick  6’2”  Senior

New school: Saginaw Buena Vista

Old school: Carrollton

He’s a guy that can pour in the points and he should be a part of a nice 1-2-3 combo that will include Devonte Jackson and Torian Oglesby.

Michael Parks  6’3”  Senior

New school: Flint Northwestern

Old school: Flint Northern

Capable of big outings. I’ll never forget the 30+ he dropped on Saginaw High as a sophomore. One more scorer in the Wildcat arsenal.

William Sams  5’11”  Sophomore

New school: Grand Blanc

Old school: Montrose

Went to GB in middle school, then transferred to Montrose and is now back at GB. Talented kid that should team with Adrian Hunter and Tony Jones to make for an explosive backcourt.

Alan Sharp  6’2”  Senior

New school: Flint Carman Ainsworth

Old school: Flint Northern

Experienced guard with a fearless style of play. One of the best slashers in the area that will be willing to do the things Reggie Stallings won’t. CA’s perimeter will be one of the most talented in the state.

Eric Smith  5’11”  Junior

New school: East Lansing

Old school: Okemos

Nice point guard that can hit big shots and run a team. Logged some minutes at Okemos last season, but should start at EL.

Charles Sparks  6’3”  Junior

New school: Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central

Old school: Bridgeport

A nice replacement for the slashing Tim Ryan. Should be a low double-digit scorer for the Panthers.

Xavier Walker  6’5”  Senior

New school: Flint Powers

Old school: Flint Carman Ainsworth

Nice low post banger that would have contributed at CA, but will start for GB. He has the talent of Aaron Hans, but does he have the heart?

Area losses:

Rodney Anderson  6’5”  Junior  Flushing

The Raiders are losing probably the most gifted athlete that school has ever seen. Anderson’s ups were as good as anyone’s state-wide.

Courtland Patterson [right] 6’4”  Junior  Flint Carman Ainsworth

Long and bouncy kid that improved every time I saw him. He began to look more and more like a legit wing during the AAU season. CA is losing a really talented kid.
